Called “Sweet Myrrh”, this tree’s resin is not actually a myrrh. Used in meditation or ceremonially, the scent is said to be deeply grounding and helpful in balancing out the emotions. It is also said to harmonize a space. The scent is reminiscent of the sweetness of honey, balanced by the pungent richness of Earth. Used in salves or as oils, Opopanax can harmonize the skin and support gentle healing. This resin is a fantastic friend to have around for burning, salves, spagyrics and more.
