Agarwood, Oudwood or Oudhwood, is a complex and fragrant burnable wood, creating a warm home-like feeling for many, as well as creating an anxiety stress free atmosphere. It is also mentioned in the Bible, as Aloe wood.
This variety of oud we simply call a "Chip". It seems to have a very warm and rich smell and notes akin to hand made sweet bread.
Oudwood is formed in the heartwood of Aquilaria trees when they become infected with a type mould (Phialophora parasitica).
